Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters

Watermark Studio collects only what is needed to run sign-in, process uploads, review watermark detection, and return finished exports. We do not run advertising trackers or sell usage data. Last updated: May 2026.

What we collect

We collect your email address, sign-in state, uploaded media, generated masks, job history, and export metadata. We also keep operational logs needed to trace failures, prevent abuse, and restore work when a processing step needs review.

How we use your data

Your account data is used to authenticate you, isolate your jobs, queue processing, and return cleaned results. Uploaded files are used only for the watermark workflow you request. We do not use customer media for advertising, profiling, or retargeting.

AI-assisted detection

When watermark verification is enabled for a job, selected frames or images may be sent to our vision verification provider to confirm whether a watermark is present and where it appears. This verification step is used to reduce false removals, improve localization, and avoid running destructive cleanup when nothing should be removed.

Infrastructure and processors

The current product stack uses Cloudflare R2 for file storage, MongoDB Atlas for database storage, AWS infrastructure for application hosting and background services, Redis for queue coordination, and OpenRouter-backed model routing for optional AI verification. These providers process data only to deliver the service.

Cookies and local storage

We use essential session cookies and local device storage to keep you signed in, preserve account isolation, remember your privacy acknowledgement, and stabilize editor workflows. We do not run advertising cookies or third-party analytics tags. See the Cookie Policy for exact details.

Retention and deletion

Your uploads and generated outputs may remain available in your workspace history until you delete them or remove your account. Operational logs and queue records may persist for a limited period to diagnose incidents, enforce rate limits, and maintain platform reliability.

Your controls

You can export account data, delete your account, clear browser storage, and remove uploaded jobs from the product surfaces that expose those actions. Clearing essential cookies will sign you out and may interrupt in-progress editor recovery.
